Scrappehuset utfordring "husmorens tiår.... la deg inspirere av 50 tallet

Så fikk jeg ferdig siden jeg begynte på i går og jeg må si jeg er meget meget tilfreds med hvordan den ble. Det var ikke lett å ta ett bilde av den på grunn av gulldressen og jeg måtte bruke blits, jeg så en utfordring hos Scrappehuset der du skulle la deg inspirere av 50 tallet og siden jeg nå er en stor fan av Elvis så måtte jeg jo bare bli med på denne utfordringen.

Bildet jeg har brukt er tatt av meg på en italiensk restaurant i Memphis (yep jeg har vært der 2 ganger) restauranten ligger i den gamle jernbanestasjons i Memphis.

Hei derute i blogland.
Som tittelen sier så var det tid for ennå ett STRILASCRAPTREFF, og jeg har lenge vist at nå måtte jeg få lært meg noen nye teknikker for å få litt mer liv i scrappesidene mine og meldte meg på kurs med Vibekke Busch Ullaug , og skal jamen si jeg fikk lært en masse igår, hadde det KJEMPEGØY på kurset med farging av bånd, blomster, klipping av papir bruke tape og osteklut, tro meg entusiasmen var stor og er det ennå og specielt ble jeg svært så fornøyd med blomsten oppe i høyre hjørne, som vi laget selv.

Her har dere resultatet av mine anstrengelser :-D

Så har jeg endelig laget ett kort til min bror, han hadde bursdag 3 mai men bedre sent enn aldrijeg har brukt fargeutfordringen fra Sketchy Colors og skissen fra Sketch Saturday .

Motivet er fra Kenny K, Bazzill kartong Mørk blå, Lys blå, Lys grønn, mønsterpapir fra Kaiser Kraft brukt både for og bakside, punch og nestabilities

svertet kanter med Distress Inks. Black soot og Shabby shutters, teksten er skrevet ut på pc.

Siden min bror er helfrelst når det gjelder Bluesmusikk så syntes jeg dette motivet passet særs godt til han og her er ett bilde av han som beviser det.

Hei og god søndag til alle derute i blogland.Her er et konfirmantkort jeg laget på bestilling , kortet ble godt mottatt og alle syntes det var ett artigt kort , siden konfirmanten liker " Black Metal" Musikk og selv spiller gitar.Også dette kortet ble ett staffelikort , ser ut til at jeg er blitt hektet på denne type kort :-)

Hei.Idag har jeg en liten sak som jeg gjerne vil dele med andre her i blogland, for en stund siden søkte jeg på en DT plass hos Heidi's Hobbystuggu og tror dere ikke at jeg ble valgt, eneste var at jeg hadde helt glemt at jeg hadde søkt og da jeg hadde noen problemer med min gmail hadde jeg ikke sett mailen hun hadde sendt meg før i går, vel jeg svarte da og regnet ikke med at jeg fortsat ville ha en plass i hennes design team men tro det eller ei jeg fikk lov til å være med likevel så derfor WOOOO HOOOOO , Tusen Takk til Heidi som lot meg bli i teamet.

her er ett par bestillingskort jeg har laget, ble ganske så fornøjd med dem.

dette kort er til en kollega's datter hun er litt retro så gikk på nettet for å finne noe jeg kunne bruke og fant dette bilde ved å søke etter retro på google ser at der mangler en blomst men ikke noe å gjøre med, blomsten var i allefall på kortet da det ble levert , her er kortet fra en litt annen vinkel

First some news, ii have desided that i will only be writing in norwegian on my blog, so please use the Translater in my sidebar to translate to your language.

Endelig har jeg fått laget 3 Julekort, hadde bestemt meg for å begynne med julekortene i januar, men fikk ikke laget ett eneste ett på grunn av en del oppussing, er nå snart ferdig med kjøkkenet, neste prosjekt er så vaskerommet, håper bare jeg blir ferdig med all oppusinngen innen sommeren har endel lister der skal settes opp. Hobbyrommet mitt ligner en slagmark for tiden det skal også ha en gang maling i løpet av våren og så skal der hyller opp så jeg kan få alt opp fra gulvet, er bare så trøtt av ikke å kunne finne noen ting.

Hello out there in blogland.

Started early this morning with a card for the challenge over at Sketchy Colors when i saw the sketch i just knew what kind of card i was going to make, and can you tell i LOVE my nestabilities and MS punches, it is in very untraditional colors for a christmas card and the small blings on is actually dark yellow but when scanned they turned green will have to take a better picture later, i do like the way it came out. The challenge over at Sketchy Colors is a sketch and color combo which is "Lime,turquise,and pink,and the card also had to have a hidden text, oboy have this color combo given me a headache, i am not happy with the way the card turned out, and it even dont look like the colors provided in the challenge but honest they are, i've tried to take a pic with my camera with and without blitz that didn't helped, so went for the scanner.

Good morning bloggers.
Woke up this morning to rain and not so warm outside, i have finally finished setting up the wallpaper and got it painted twice, now it just need a really good cleaning out and it will be one of the best rooms in my appartment, my youngest son will start on his room soon, maybe allready today, i have decided that today will be my relaxing day to make a few cards for all the challengeblog i am following so will see how many i actually get finished, just been out on a walk with the dog so now i 'll go start of my cardmaking day.

In these days it is 1 year since SSD started up and they are going to celebrate it for 4 days with lots of challenges and giveaway, you will have to participate in all 4 days to get all the freebies and since i first discovered this this afternoon i had to get going and make a card with this cool girl called Sassy cassie which also was SSD's 1st top selling digistamp.Well to be honest i am not happy with the result as the colors don't turn out the way i wanted and as i said it was made in a hurry, yeah i know i am NOT good at coloring images but i have done my best in that little time i had to be in the challenge, i hope and pray i am in time if not well nothing to do with that but am crossing everything that can be crossed LOL. Edited to add: well it looks like i didn't made it in time for me to get the next image for the challenge, i did send an email in time but i didn't say i had linked my card only that i had completed the 1st step. well i'll have to head over when all 4 days are finished and then get the 5 image that will be free for all.

Here is my card for the Color/Texture Challenge over at OCC This week they challenged us to make a black & white card with lots of texture, and rather than use a coloured image they want text instead.As the text is in Norwegian i'll translate it,
It says something like this: "The world is full of possibilities- catch them".

Friday Sketchers # 99 & Secret Crafters #80

Here is the card i'm entering into 2 challenges this week.
Fridaysketchers Sketch.
Secret Crafters Distressing.
I embossed the brown basic grey dp with the cuttlebug then sanded it to get a distressed look, then inked the edges of the image and sentiment which says warm hugs.

DP: The paperloft "Grandmas house", 7gypsies, Basic grey.some unknown paper.
Stamps: "Linda" from Northstar Stamps, textstamp from Norsk Stempelblad.

Here is my card for the challenge over at Sketchy Colors,this week they provided a sketch for us to work with, i love sketches so what could i do other than have a go, and as the title says it's a cristmas card,i have challenged me self to at least make 2 Xmas card pr. month, this is the 1st for april.
What i used:
CS: as usually Bazzill Bling Light Blue.
DP: TPC Studio, Winter Blues "Snowday" the dark blue in the card. I cant remember the name of the light blue but it is from the same line.

Here's my take on the sketch over at Fridaysketchers
over at Secret Crafter they have a color combo which is green , pink , and flower.
I have paper pierced the girl and decided to not color her face and arms as would not ruin it i am not good at coloring with inks nor with pens oh believe me i have tried several times they say practice do a master but not in my case LOL,then i cut her out and mounted her with foam pads to get a bit of depth in the card.

Card for Mum & Sketchy Colors Challenge # 17

Hello from a bad blogger.
Thought it was time to update my blog and show of a card i made for my mum its her birthday this friday (april 2) she wont receive it before after easter as i didn't got it sent in time ( she lives in Denmark) i have told her it wont be there on her day.
Well i have been away from the march 5 to march 19 went home to Denmark to celebrate my sister on turning 50, as she had bought herself a new flat last year she said she would'nt held anything, well i thought she deserved to be celebratet properly as its only one time in your life you turn 50 LOL so i organized a surprise party for her, i had told her that my birthdaypresent to her would be a dinner out, so she thought it would only be me and her and our family that would go out for dinner i was so excited to see her face when she realised that a bunch of her friends would be there also and boy did she get surprised LOL.
I am also entering this card into the challenge over at SKETCHY COLORS this week they wanted us to make a card in this color combination Orange, Brown, Turquise & White.

This weeks challenge at Sukkersøtt is "Feiring/Celebration and since i am attending a confirmation in may i made a card for this event,i used my Cuttlebug to make the embossed backing and the only nestabillities i own for the base for the text, text stamp is from North star stamps both on the front and inside, i used my very favorite cardstock which is Bazzill Bling, for the inside backing i used Basic grey sugared/loved,+ some ribbon from my stash, i think it turned out ok but not sure if i like it that much.
